OP Roller Single speed to 3 speed rear wheel conversion

I've got a 26" men's OP Roller beach cruiser and I'd like to convert it from single speed to 3 speed with a Shimano/Nexus internal 3 speed rear wheel conversion kit.

My question is whether the rear forks are wide enough to accomodate the new 3 speed hub wheel? It looks like the wheel is wider than a standard single speed rear wheel. Will I need to pry the rear fork apart or will this bike not accept the conversion?

It should fit fine. The spacing should be about the same. 120mm. Many of those conversions have been done.
