I haven't had a bicycle since I got into motorcycles about 25 years ago, however my kids are getting big enough to ride bikes, so I decided I should get one too. I was talking to my mom on the phone the other day and told her I was looking to buy an old bike. She called me a few days later and says she bought me a bicycle. I was really worried about what she bought, It turned out to be a early 40's Shelby Traveler. This bike is probably cooler than a bike I would have found. Its nothing to fancy, has the wrong seat but rides pretty nice. It's been repainted, including silver paint over all the shiny bits. I rode it up and down my driveway for about an hour and then started to dig into it and make it my way. Thats what brought me here...
