There are plenty of bikers out here on the Jersey shore, and although I come from a mountain biking background I have a strong love of the ratrod/hotrod/freak bike/steampunk/retro/custom styles.
I recently picked up a used 20" lowrider bike, and a beat up BMX frame, and have begun the parts swapping process. I intend to create something worthy of ratrodesque praise but we shall see.
I'll post pics when I have something worthy of viewing.
I do intend to search for some frames and parts that are a bit more classically origined(read: rusty), and hopefully something a bit more adult sized, but for now, i'm just happy to have such an awesome forum for inspiration.

Cross the Dotson Swingshot....
...with Black Mags...
...but in bicycle form, and with brass(...or rust) instead of chrome hardware.......
....well,...I think I could die a happy man.
