Just wanted to post a quick intro here, albeit a little after the fact since I recently posted a contribution to the 2011 RRB calendar thread. The bike was my first attempt at doing something, I honestly knew very little to nothing about bikes short of patching a tube. I guess I just like to take things apart and figure them out like most of you. I've got another boring red standard beach cruiser in the garage I'm going to fix up for my wife next once some other projects cool down.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and how cool it was to find this site with so many users appreciating the same aesthetic I do.
On a side note, I'm very interested in making a board track racer style motorized bike at some point but I have no idea where to start research.
