Sorry for the bad pictures, but I thought I'd give you guys a little look at my other bikes.
I just built this one today. Bought it at 9:30 for $25.
Stripped it down and took out my bullhorns, which I've been dying to use.
Cleaned it a little, bought a new freewheel and...
Took it out to get dinner tonight, it was pretty nice. I want to get some knobby tires for it, and swap a 27" rear wheel (run 27 rear 26 front). I need to swap my Shimano 600 brakes on to it, and get a better brake lever. Other than that, I spent a total of around $50 and I'd have to say I'm very happy with it!
My real bike is one that was handed down from my dad. It's the smoothest and sweetest bike I've ever ridden and I was ecstatic when he passed it on to me.
He did a 3 chain ring swap, bar-end shifters (as opposed to the down tube). The bike is just phenomenal, I love it!
My roommate had this little NEXT full suspension that he abandoned for an ebay fixie, so I did what I always do. Strip it down to a single gear ratio and then I gave it to our other roommate Travis. I also swapped a coaster brake wheel to the back, so we spend most of our time doing skids
Built this bike during my sophomore year of college and gave it to my good friend Tom.
And then my ever changing bike, the Nishiki.
I swapped the bike up to be an aggressive workout tool, and then this happened.
Was doing around 25-30mph and tried to swing up on to the sidewalk. Nicked the crub and hit palm and shoulder first.
Bent my front brake bolt pretty bad, ruined the rear wheel, bent the fork a little, so I went for this.
Currently it's being borrowed by my buddy Bryan while he's at college in DC. Can't wait to have it back
Anyways, those are just a couple of the little bike projects I do here and there. Hope you enjoy!
