My friend's original Polo Bike!

I went out to see my bike shop owner friend today for lunch. When I was there I mentioned that I told his story about the Murray with the solo polo seat and hi rise bars. He said "Did I show you the picture of that?" He hadn't, and sent me this!

He said his dad took that bike right out of the box for him at their shop, added the seat, sissy bar and handlebars from the NY Dealers Show, and away he went! Kind of a cool vintage picture!

Yes, it was some sort of light up stick with a flag on the end. He said it never did work very well!

Cool Pic. Those red solo polo's are cool seats. I had one before and it wasn't stamped Persons on the pan bottom. Nice super early parts there.

He actually put the date in the picture name, it has Murray 2spd 10-1963.
