Well, not this one, this one cost me $10.00. I saw this bike sittin in an alley in my town, asked about it, guy said how bout $10.00? OK, I bought it. then he tells me he won this bike selling subscriptions to the local paper when he was a kid, and picked the bike out at the local Gambles store. Ironically, I did the same thing the same year he did, but my bike was a bit different, mine had chrome fenders, rims, etc.
Mines been long gone but now I got another one of those "free" bikes.
BTW, I rode my old bike about 30-35 miles thru the country to sell enuf subscriptions to win mine; I figured the town kids had the town people covered.This contest took place back in the early 60's, and I'm still ridin bikes.
