My first project: Schwinn Racer

I recieved the bicycle from FreeWheelin Community Bicycles in bad shape: all moving parts frozen by all the rust and many other dings and dents

I took an old sears bike that had been taking up garage space for wheels and guts
the victim:

prepping and painting going for a red with white accents look

after an hour of painting drying and masking

Finshed? Not sure if Im going to put the schwinn logo and and racer lettering back on.

Overall this project took around 4 days to complete maybe 9 hours of work not including drying time

I'd say you have a great start. I really like the two-tone it's come along way since I last saw it, you'll have to be sure to post the finished pics. If you are going to run that seat let me know and I'll hook you up with some vinyl dye that I have out in the garage.
