Well as I said in the hello section this is my 1993 huffy good vibrations beach cruiser. I pulled her literally out of the garbage dump where I work so I decided to make it into a ratrod bike against everyone's negative remarks about me being crazy for even waisting my time. Here is the pictures when I pulled her out.

.Then after a good cleaning, stripping, and greasing I removed those nasty foam grips. flipped the bar upside and chopped a inch off the bar ends. Got some loaner wheels just to get her rolling

Then i ripped off the seat cover polished up the seat pan and decided to run it naked. Looks cleaner in my opinion. So I ordered up a nice bent springer lowrider fork just to lay the front down to the ground where it belongs

Afterwords looking at the bikes new stance profile I wasn't happy seeing the front so raked and the rear tucked in. Thought about chopping and welding up a new rear section longer but I really didn't wanna chop it up. I just wanted to leave the frame as original as possible so while using the search bar on this forum I came across a drop out extension. Fabbed it up 5 inches long with a nice sweep to even the frame geometry back to the stock looking stance. I forgot to take a picture of the drop out at first but it's still not completed yet just in the ruff stage.

.Then I really started ordering goodies for her especially thanks to this forums store for the sick 3G wheels which look amazing on these intense 24x1.50 micro roller tires. Yes I decided to go with a 24" set up just to lay her on the ground.

Thanks and Yes I was hopping to catch the wife awake when I got off tonight so she can hold it straight and I could measure the length I would need but she knocked out. The stock crank was 7 inches long so I'm guessing I'm gonna be needing 3 1/2 maybe 4 inch crank. Ill know better by tomorrow then ill order the cranks, chain wheel, and chain. I'm looking for a nice fat bmx chain to make it look fat and nasty.

I've got the shorter version of those same cranks (from a 20" Huffy). I'll measure them, and if you want, trade you for that chain-ring?

ifitsfreeitsforme sorry for the late response yes please let me know the crank arm length and if anything we could even trade up. You need just my chain wheel or would you need the cranks also? I won't have any need for them.

LukeTheJoker thanks I actually found a hollow pin half link KMC HL710L chain in gold for super cheap its gonna look awesome. But I have a question for you guys. I recently won a used but in mint condition huffy speedometer. It came with a axle and these 2 washers with teeth at the end. I looked the set up over and all I can assume is that the washers are used to make the counter wheel stop spinning. I didn't use them since I have to spread the life out of the forks to have the axle fit the springer fork. My issue is that I get this clicking sound like if the teeth are slipping on the counter wheel. The teeth look to be new not worn down at all any thoughts or suggestions? Here's some pics

I gotta have some of those extensions for the rear dropouts. Who is going to start making these for sale????

Grip king it was nice trading with you. Thank you. Chain ring looks great. Hope the shorty cranks work for you.

There can also be a drive cable problem. It (or the socket it goes in) could be damaged, or the little stop ring on one end could be out of place or missing. Disconnect the cable from the speedo and check operation by grabbing the drive cable and turning the wheel.

Ifitsfreeitsforme thank you it was awesome trading with you. The cranks came out just perfect with about 1 1/2 inches clearance off the floor on full down stroke while I'm pedaling. I dropped in a copper color shadow conspiracy screaming skull chain wheel.

Then I finally welded up a foot rest for my kickstand threw away the black rubber grips and decided it would be cool to make grips out of header wrap and mechanic wire. Plus I scored this vintage oxford bicycle lamp that runs on 2 d size batteries.

Thanks for the info deorman but I finally got the speedo problem solved Saturday night. Turns out the counter wheel bracket must of bowed out a little when I tightened down the front axle. I bent it in a tad and she works like a charm. Tied a rope to the wife's SUV told her to pull me to exactly 20mph the speedo read just about 23mph which is fine. What sucked was when I tried to stop that stretched n lowered bike with no brakes since I haven't installed the chain yet. Got some more goodies in the works I'll post them up in the next couple of weeks.

Very nice. I hope thats not fiberglass header wrap. I did my bobber pipes without wearing gloves and my hands tingled from micro glass fibers for days.
