I have been trying to help a neighbor date his Murray Strato Line. According to my internet research it might be a 1964 because of the serial # MO4 27 33271 but it sure looks 1950's to me. It has a two vertical springs springer and rims simular to Schwinn 2S with baloon tires. I wasn't able to get a picture but was hoping someone with Murray knowlege might know what years they used the 2 vertical springs springer suspension.

does it look similar to this? this is a 1957 murray fleet line, but i have seen some badged as strato lines, that look pretty much the same.

Yes, that's pretty much the same style bike other than it being a girls bike. The girls bike doesn't have a tank either.
I found this type springer on bikes from the late 1940's to the late 1950's but can't find any pics of 1960's bikes with that springer. That's why I said it looked more like a 50's bike.
