Ok, maybe someone can answer this one. Apparently the post measures between 3/4" and 13/16"diameter. Metric that would be 20mm. Does anyone have a source for these, I'm strikin' out.

yup, Pork Chop BMX , the sponsor at the top of the page Wald makes a couple of 13/16 with different seat clamp sizes. So if you don't find what you want there are more choices; google " wald 13/16 seatpost

A 13/16" post doesn't fit, that's the problem. Looks like the size 20.2mm, google shows like 3 results, The first one being a guy in England with the same problem 2 years ago.
