Motorbike inspiration

I want to build a bike inspired by this bike:
I belive its called a BSA goldstar, I found it in the game Project Gotham Racing 4

Im kind of shaky on what frame to build it on...Of course its going to have a delta light and then the triple trees....but what frame?
Should i build it on a Cantilever or a straight bar (along the lines of my 26" American Flyer)

I cant think of any bicycles that have a peanut shaped tank but, you could use a Schwinn cantilever frame and a all chrome tank. Or you could adapt a motorcycle tank to a bicycle frame like the one below.

Do some searching on ebay and ebay motors. Lots of old motorcycle tanks of all shapes and sizes. Just an idea. I've considered doing the same.

Could work. Do you want the chrome look of the motorcycle? You would have to cut the tank in order to lower it over the top tube of the bike.

I think the WCC tank is the cheapest easiest way to go

...or find a Whizzer tank ($)

If you could find an old aluminum motocross tank from the early seventies, that could be polished up nice.

It's tiny too! If you like it keep an eye on
ebay, it off a Honda s90.

You can prolly get one for 20-50 bucks.

Just found one on the bay for like 25 bucks...the chrome looks fair, no fuel cap

There's an idea of the size.
It's a tad larger than a football.
I think it holds 1.25 gallons. (don't hold me to that)
