Montgomery Ward Hawthorne?

I picked this up for $50 off a craigslist add slapped some new white walls on her and am plannin g on just taking a scotch brite and rubbing down the whole frame cleaning it up a bit and leaving it as is with a few personal touches. I did a little research but couldnt really find out what year or model this bike is so is there someone who can tell me a little bit more about this bike? I believe it is a 1949-1952 but i could be wrong.

I cant read the serial number on the bottom bracket, its to worn to read but I believe the first part is an M for the serial number

I agree. It should have a Snyder code, offset from the serial #. It has the last two digits of the year reversed, plus two letters. So, "25 EH" would be a '52, 35=53, etc. -Adam
