Monarch and Columbia

A guy I know offered this bike to me. What would it be worth as it sits. What parts are correct and what is not. Fenders look to be original paint, frame is not. I would like to buy it but don't know what to offer. He also has the Columbia reproduction, looks real nice. What is it worth.

The Columbia is all original and was made in the 80's :wink: They are worth around 600-800 dollars

don't know about the prices now. i bought mine in 2007. it was nos, stored in a game room. i tuned it up and rode it the same day i picked it up. it was an ebay local pickup only deal, but i had to drive 2 hrs to get it. i'm happy

There were 5000 of these made... would be kinda cool to find and record all of them... well the ones that still exist.... 8)

I will contact the guy and make an offer on both bikes. The Columbia is like new. It will look great next to my Western Flyer.

Look on the bottom bracket for ser# Last 4 digits are the number out of 5000.... I have numbers 4381 and 229... Lower the number the better..
