Got a project.
White's Auto "White Super Chief"
The cycle is a friends mothers so it's a "one owner" kind of thing. I hope it will turn out well.

Here it is after fighting to come apart.

Badge cleaned up along with the grips. Most everything else will need serious finishing work.
Also found a model/serial number badge under the crank.

Think this one was bought as is from White's.
And now that it's apart the fixing should go easy... if it would only stop raining!

The old, gray & rusty wheelset with the bike would be better suited for a ratty project... the chrome set will go on the Chief
