I was coming home the other night as I turned the corner i saw what appeared to be a handlebar sticking out of a garbage pile. Checked it out, brought it home to restore and made $100 off a friend who really wanted it. It was almost complete.
Thanks guys. All it took was $10 & 3 hours with naval jelly & a wire brush. 1 of those hours involved a bike ride for a 6 pack. Usually would of polished the chrome right after. Would make it shine more and proctect the chrome as well.
