Ok, several years ago (pre-pandemic), there was a little bike shop in a house on the neighborhood streets of SD. Can’t remember which side of the zoo it was but it was near to the zoo/balboa area. I feel like it was in Uptown. It also had some quirky dress shops and antique shops nearby, maybe.
Anyway, an older guy owned the place and had a magnificent parts cabinet. Also had a huge parts pile in the “backyard” but his wife got real snappy when I wanted to go back there. (Yea, I thinking that too).
I can’t find it now online. Headed back out there soon and would love to go back to buy that Morrow hub he had.
