look what I found today

Dont really know much about it but found this in the back of a shop today.

Look for a serial number either under the bottom bracket or on the left rear dropout.
Post it and someone will help date it.

looks like a repop or one that someone put together....
look at the forks,grips,fenders,light. plus its missing the pinstriping....doesnt add up to correct for a real(or original) one :wink:

I bet repop but with different parts. The does the pivot on the springer fork go through the center or is it offset? The seat looks like the 1999 versions but none of those had painted fenders. The rear hub would also be an indication. The repop hub would say "Schwinn Anniv" or Shimano.

Very cool find. Did you buy it?

the later ones...like the ones on the stingrays and such and are all chrome i bet the lamp housing is plastic as well(easy way to tell is where is the switch for it and is it recessed into the fender?)

No, I didn't buy it. If you look closely there is a price on the paper laying on the seat of $995
