Started building bikes about 2 months ago and I am completely addicted. On my third build and wanted to build a long, low, cruiser. Started with a Worksman INB I picked up from a fellow RRB member on the cheap:
Day 1: Started the stretch. Added roughly 11" to the rear end and wasn't feeling the downtube so I made my own:
Day 2: More of the same cutting, bending and welding:
Day 3: Fitted with seat, fork and wheels to see how it looks. OOPS! Too low, pedals are gonna rub the dirt, so I had to rework that. More cutting, bending and welding:
Day 4: New location of BB and newly designed downtube:
Still a ton of work to do but I think I have the frame set up the way i want it. Back to welding & grinding.
