In a week this Schwinn Speedster single speed received a new coat of paint, new 26 X 1 3/8 tires and chain and a new seat. We cleaned and trued the rusty wheels, added flat bars with original Schwinn grips. Kinda looks like a fixie.
This was our first diamond frame project.

thanks! its a little too rusty so maybe sometime soon itll get a fresh coat of paint and some new shoes. it wont be yellow though.. :wink:
 
I really like the yellow, do you mind telling us what paint and shade it is? :? It's a very nice and clean Schwinn.
 
Gotta love those old Chicago Schwinns clean lookin bikes guys.
