1958 Huffy-built (8H), tank model; missing rear fender, headlight, kickstand; with miss-matched rims. It rides with 'new' tires & tubes; leaving this one mostly 'as-is'.

In comparison, 1955 Huffy-built (5H) "promotional" model below.
I believe this frame was not designed to accommodate a tank.

I figured out how to sent pictures from my flip phone to my computer email. So here are some 'after' pictures to those shown earlier.
1958 Huffy-built economy (tank) model, cleaned-up, 2.125" tires & rack added:

1955 Huffy-built promotional (no-tank) model; most parts added:

Both are middleweight works in-progress - and are riders; will probably leave the '58 (tank) mostly as-is.

Not real sure of actual year , I found this on a farm in Denton , Texas . Tried to load pictures of what it started out as but kept getting an error so here it is the way we roll !
