Alright., since I too somehow missed this thread., Heres my StratoFlyer, Finally finished. Rear Hub Caps, creme backed 8ball valve caps and matching steering wheel Ball, for single hand turns. I LOVE the way my new Kenda Tires fit. They look just right.

I also found a workable substitute for the Rack Light!

I guess its a turn signal or brake light optional.
It has a still and blinkable option I havent yet tapped into.
Im not sure what voltage it is, the packaging was extremely generic., but it was a good value for a bike light.

Under Mounts, it had two stem bolts so I used them with a coffee lid I rusted just for the sake of being unsafe to assemble I guess as the backing. Its a FIRM hold., but Im considering padding between the light and rack on top a little, just so it looks a little more snug, as apposed to sitting on top.

I dont think I ever bothered to notice before., is your variation a complete metal tank, bezel and all? Mine has a plastic bezel and its peeling pretty hard.

Aha., that is why it looks all metal. Im sorry for your loss

Well, in order to lose something, you have to own it in the first place. It came like this. I picked it up last spring and finally got around to seeing if I can disassemble it. I found the #s; it's a 1966. I'm thinking of using it for BO10.

I bought this buzz bike when i was 15 (21 now) and i was into challengers plumb purple and black so i painted all the chrome black BIG mistake so ibe been working on getting the chrome/ rust back (alot of sandpaper/steel wool/ power drill wire wheel/ and elbow grease! This was my mistake

I found this 1947 Western Flyer Model F2104 at a garage sale quite a few years ago. I added light, streamers, speedometer, Torrington pedals and a rack. I redid the saddle currently on it. Someone before me had cleaned it up and clear coated over what appears to be original paint. Rides good but really heavy.
