I upgraded the custom shifter on my Electra. No more clamp on lever, this one is "geared" right to the grip shift.
Took a little time to carve out the teeth on the aluminum lever and the PVC spacer, but being quarantined lately, I had some time on my hands.

That's pretty slick

But are you sure it's custom? :giggle:
The real point of this was to ask you ARE THOSE HYDRAULIC BRAKES?! ME LIKELY!!
Got a non-detail shot?

Lol, I could've gone and bought a CNC shifter but, I ended up finding the bits I needed at the hardware store down the street. Suicide shifter was a must on this build.

Yea, I got a front disc setup on that bike, with floating rotor. Came out of a bin of MTB parts I have. I actually posted a pic earlier in the fenders yay/neigh thread, lol. I should post some more in the gallery thread. Snow is gone here in Ontario, so I got some pics the other day.

Me ----> looks at every painstakingly single speeded bike in the stable......."this shouldn't take long"

😂

awesome idea though. All the shifter gurus will fill volumes @JNOACK
Right!

As a Chicago single-speed evangelist, I was surprised I had so many to photograph!
