Hello bike enthusiasts, I finally joined the forum, but I've been biking for a while (as my funds permit). My first bike was this orange Schwinn which I got for my 13th birthday. I have ridden the crap out of it over the years but it still rides great. I plan on customizing it mildly. My current project is my Western Flyer built by AMF, galaxy flyer model. I basically started with the frame and have been collecting random parts to build it the way I like. These include a huffy tank (which I still need to attach and fill in excess holes), thrift store Persons Permaco saddle, Wald fenders, mystery WF rack and handlebars, custom fender ornament, and vinyl sticker decals. The finished bike will be painted "metallic rich caramel" with white and a few green accents. My future project plans include a motored board track replica and whatever bicycles that may come my way. 8)
