Just playing around with extra parts.

Had a few extra parts laying around for years and decided to start slapping stuff together to see what I could come up with.started with a Schwinn speedster frame and repop springer,then found the tank that fits like a glove.a 2001 Schwinn cruiser SS crank and sprocket,cheapo 26" wheels,free rideable replica seat,Schwinn middleweight guard.next step is a pair of bobbed fenders and lights.not sure if I'll go bare metal w/clearcoat or paint.I'll show the Kool grips I made down the road a bit.

Did those fit over the handlebars? If so, what caliber are they?

Not sure the caliber.no markings on them.I bought a whole string of them at a garage sale many years ago.sure wish I had kept them all.I had to open up the ends a bit,but they're a real tight fit.
