J's my first rat rod bike

This is a new bike I got for my birthday from My Great Uncle MplsCoaster
Its about a 1941 good year hi-way patrol
The first picture is what it looked like originally

And this was just a test on how the bike would look

This is before MplsCoaster Stripped the paint

This is after he stripped the paint

This is the first time riding it but it was a little tough at first

It sure was fun to see him ride his new (old) bike!!

As we were taking it for a shakedown ride and he got more comfortable with it,
I saw him holding on to the grips with just the tips of his fingers
and I wondering what is he doing but I didn't say anything

Later I saw him holding on to just the back of the grips with one finger
Now I really curious, then I figured out he never rode a cruiser before
(just a BMX and stingray) that steers very straight all by itself

It made me really happy!!
