By order of the wife I needed to clean up and strighten out the basement. In doing so I found the pieces to this bike i bought almost two years ago and had totally forgotten about. After doing some research it turns out to be a 1940 Western Flyer. I spent yesterday stripping the blue housepaint. Who ever took the time to apply the blue paint spent a lot of time sanding and stripping the original paint off. It was maroon and cream. Because the OG paint had been on there for many years it had sort of stained the metal. It showed on it like ghost flames do. Now, what to do with this one? I still have some searching to see if i can locate the chainguard. I have the forks and the fenders have been stripped. Stay tuned!

Thanks,
Joe
