Ive never actually done a build off bike before. Ive given my dad ideas and parts but never a solo one.
Im going to start with this Huffman built for Belknap Hardware in Louisville, KY. I went ahead and tossed in the rear wheel I will be using. They came originally from my girlfriends 1940 Schwinn built Ludwig.
I saw the tank idea on the Rat Rod Facebook and it had me intrigued. For my limited amount of tools the PVC melted tank should be very doable. Not sure yet if my tank design will pass the seat tube like the Huffman long tanks.
And this haggard seat matches the patina on the front of the frame and the formerly white wheels. I believe it is from a 30s Schwinn. Not entirely sure though.
I have an array of parts that might make it on the build, a disassembled repainted huffman springer, the original rear fender, Schwinn studded tire, and the rest I have no clue.
