Is my frame a middleweight? and will it fit my tires

hey long time, first time

bought a frame (says it is a 26" firestone) off ebay, however I have just received the frame (has a firestone logo on frame neck) and I believe it is a middleweight?

I have already ordered a set of 24" mags to mount my already owned fatti-o's to? Will they fit? without modification? One LBS says that the tire wont actually be 3" wide becasue of skyways thinner rim size so they might fit? But then wont that make the tire taller? causing another problem?

The distance beteen the legs at the crossmember behind the seat measures 2.5" (which I have read to only mean middleweight)

Also is it possible to put coaster brakes on skyway mags?

i dont know if you could convert a freewheel mag to a coaster but i have a set of skyway mags that i used for street that have a coaster brake

Alot of times it is trial and error. Especially with some of the lesser known brands.

try this for help spreading the frame. The good thing about the skyways, no need to true them which is important for this combination.
