So I'm looking at bikes from all over for inspiration for my first scratch build and thought maybe some other people would like to see what & why we like the bikes we like.

Here's a bike I found tonight that I really like. I dig the leaf sprung fork, the black and wood color scheme, the open frame design, super thin seat and that huge rear hub. I also, have always liked the Profile Imperial sprocket.

what bike do you like and why

Having built a few scratch built bikes, I came to the conclusion that putting one together without a seat post would be difficult. You have to have the skills to weld those stays on to a thin piece of tubing. Its a but weld and probably the one with the least strength....Good luck

i actually saw that bike in san diego last year....yeah it has a seat post(he didnt have the wood tank/whatever the other thing is or the wheel/hub/tire combo.which im guessing its an e-bike now).......
