this one will be my first, do they usually have bikes other than whats here on this forum? has anyone seen vintage colnago or pinarello frames at these meets

There is a really cool LBS here in town that specializes in Italian road bikes. They have an amazing vintage Pinarello sitting there. Looks brand new...Not sure the asking price or age, but it is SERIOUSLY nice. Shoot me a PM and I'll get you the contact info...

Here's the latest on the weather:

Overnight and into the morning, a round of light snow could make for slick roads.  Here in Indy we could pick up between 1/2" to 1", but higher snow amounts are possible north of Kokomo.  South of Bloomington, there might even be some mix/rain with only a coating expected.

Those of you driving a ways, be careful! See you there!

I took a few, but unfortunately it was only at the end when the show bikes were leaving....... :(

My 10 y/o wanted to show the '70 Fastback and came out with a 3rd place. He's now excited to get his '69 Stingray finished and this one re-done for the summer show & swap.

This bike was my favorite! The photo does not do it any justice. You have to see this one up close to appreciate the details put into it...

There were many more to see in the show & for sale in the swap.....but I didn't think of taking pictures untill the end.....

Yeah, the picture does not do "Bloody Mary" justice. It was also my favorite bike of the show. I talked to the guy who build the bike and he is added a really cool springer to the front for the next show. I think that Higgins frame is one of my favorites.

Only picture I took but regret that I didn't take more. If you go to YouTube and serach TheBicycleJungle he has some short videos of some of the bikes that were there...

And I forgot to ask the owner who makes the rear wheel and where he got it........

Yeah....a 24X3. I am thinking about trying to run the same on the front and back of my rat build. Just not sure I want to attack a '36 CWC frame to shoehorn a 3 in the back.

Notice the shift lever on the RH seat stay. It kind of looks like an old ten speed shift lever. I like it in that it is discrete and subtle. He said it is a three speed lever of some sort.

You should be proud of it. It's obvious that you attention to detail and creativity show in your work! I really liked the spoon!

hey chips,i am very proud of it! i am also very forunate to have such a great group of friends with varying talents. that are willing to help at anytime, but it is my vision that you see. if it wasn't for my friend kyle moody with the schwinn hornet the was next to "lacy lucille" his build called "fenderless freddie" that rj blackledge and myself helped build for kyle, that was kyle's vision, and when it was done i was the first to take it for a ride and i liked it,so one nite i got bored and the parts started coming off of the higgins. then one day i went to my local bike shop...indy cycle specialists and seen that thickslick and just had to have that tire, and so i found out about it and had to get the rim to go with it. never thought about measuring anything first,i only have a 1/4" clearance between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fork,if that. i had to have the rear of the frame widened to accept the 24x3 felt thickbrick. then i had it powder coated by my friends at TW PERFORMANCE COATINGS LLC. got it all put together and had all the chrome sent of to METAL FINISHERS and had it all done in polished nickle instead of chrome. the nickle looks much richer. i plan on riding it as much as i can this year with all my brothers and sisters of the CIRCLE CITY CRUISERS!
