Hi- I started mountain biking around 1995 and needed a way to pay for my habit so I started buying and selling bikes and parts. Along the way I realised just how well made and creatively engineered some of these old parts were. I have never been a restoration person, more of a "How soon can I ride this thing" person. I want to have a vintage bike that not only looks cool, but is rideable and maybe comfortable. So if you see most of my bikes you will notice the seatpost launching toward the stratosphere and a skinnyish perch on top, because that's what it takes to go for a 25 mile ride. So I am aiming for fashion but not forgetting function.
You guys have a great thing going here, and thanks for letting me ride with you!
