hey, my name is davy, i am 18 and i have been into bikes since i was about 4 or so, i have been ridding BMX for 10 (going on 11) years and have been riding road bikes for around 5, i restore old bicycles as a hobby, i wish i had known about this site years ago so i could have recorded the work step by step but its all good i guess, ill post my bmx and some other bicycles i have build over the years so you can get an idea of what my style is.
i built this as a commuter for college in the fall but im liking the bike im building now too much and think ill use that.
this was my moms bike 45 years ago, this was the smoothest restoration i have ever done

here is my bmx, i love her, i made the top tube pad out of an old flannel shirt
anyway, im very happy that i found this website and look forward to cataloging some of my future builds
