Phillips is From Nottinham England.

They have been Making Bikes for about 100 years.

They do have Odd Ball Tire Sizes so watch out for that.
The Tires are ( Can Be ) VERY hard to Find.

I have a 1952 Phillips that still needs to be Finished..

Ive got a 1963 Sherwood bike and i dont know if Norwood could be a sister company but Sherwoods are great bikes.

I have a brand new (with tube) 26 x 1 3/8 (EA3/590mm) gumwall - it's your's if you want it Kev.

This tire was a freebie from a co-worker. He got it at Canadian Tire so you may want to check there first.

Not to Hyjack this post...
but this is a Topic that ALL PEOPLE should concider when buying an Old raleigh or Phillips...

Cool Bike=Impossible Tire location!

The Inside seat area of The Rim on mine is so small.
I'll take a Picture of the Bead seat so everyone can see how any old Tire won't fit.

Kev.

and Thanks for the Info N.D.

peace,
Kev.

there are two commonly used sizes either the schwinn 26 1 3/8 or the english 26 1 3/8. also there is the super odd 28 inch tire which is very hard to get. but both of the 26 inch sizes we stock at the shop. as well as the super rare 26 x 1 1/2 that some schwinn tandems used.

Thanks N.D.

peace,
Kev.
and again, the F12 is a 571mm tire...the schwinn S7 is the same size...the schwinn S7 SHOULD fit...still doesn't give many options

Bontrager makes a 26 x 1 3/8. actually more common than you think. lbs had em in stock at about 12.00 a pop. worked great on my robin hood.
