my friend's Dad's bike from when he was a kid. Only number i found are upside down on the seat tube?! Thinking Hawthorne because of the chain ring, the crank arms and the the two horizontal holes in the fork tube. Not sure if the forks are original to the frame. Seen a few pictures on RBB and in books(!) that look similar, just would like to know.

It does look like one, the chainring definitely is. Not sure if it's a Snyder or CWC frame though. The serial # should be on the bottom of the BB/crank hangar. A number might tell the difference. -Adam
