well i've done this before but never really though about that i could show ya'll how. telling is one thing but if your like me. i'm a picture kinda guy?
use tracing paper or as i did a sheet of bondo board paper if you are trying to remake a sticker or use your computer/printer to make what you want.
tape it over vinyl and cut it with a very sharp razor knife. like so
after it has been cut
after you cut it out use masking tape over top so you can peel it off. note i used a plastic mirror to cut it out on.
carefully peel up decal. pay close attention to small parts. use knife to lift edge while pulling it up..go slow
the sky is the limit on what you can do. start small go slow. you can get scrap vinyl from local sign shop or buy it off the internet.
the stuff i am using is scrap off the 1/2 million dollar paint job.
