try a seat like this. an exercise seat with a backrest added

i haven't figured out upholstry yet, but i bet it would still be more comfortable than the seat you have. i've been kinda going back and forth bettween my bike and another like it i made for family that still has a regular saddle on it, and it just makes so much positive difference in rideability when you riding with your feet forward of you.
