What is the cap that you used on the Joker Machine seat mount? I also have one, but just dont care for the unfinished look it has w/o a cap.

Not sure what its from, I found it in a box full of bar end plugs at my LBS.
It has a slight angle to it, rather than one for a straight cut bar and I had to shave down the fins to make it fit.

HOLY COW!!!!!!
How have I missed this build??????
Diggin every bit of it. Great paint and concept. Love the tank trim too.
I smiled from ear to ear when I saw the orange track.
That color reminded me of the "Sugar Caddy" Hot Wheel I had as a kid.

Who else remembers mama using that orange track as a paddle? Effective to say the least.

Ouch, you just brought up some very painful memories. :(

I can still hear the whooshing sound it made when we would get beat with it.

Nothing worse than getting beat with your own toys when you're a kid.

Now back to the admiration of this beautiful bike!

Is there any tank graphics going on it?

Yes the graphics are being done right now. Should have the bike back by Thursday.

This is going to the tank,
hemigraphic_zpsd730100f.jpg

a black ring is going on the inside of the headlight ring,
Hot Wheels logo on the chain guard,
black louvers on the back fender,
a Chevy bow tie for the head badge
and of course Hot Wheels red lines on the rims.

Yes, I remember the track having two uses. One for the car and two for my butt, so I was careful not to leave it laying around.

Started working on stripping off anodizing from the rim flange to polish it to match the chain ring.
This is going to take some time!

There, The front rim is done and it only took me 4 hours  Now I have to get the rear done tonight and get it to the graphic shop for the red line striping.

Awesome job, looks great!
Hope things go well at the show...

Luke.

Thanks Luke, I'll be sure to get some good photos of the bike and it's details at the show, where the lighting will be better than our rec-room.

Wicked attention to detail!
Good luck!
