This is a very inspiring website!
Right on.
I thought I was pretty alone when it came to this hobby/craft.
Hi, I'm Louis from San Antonio, Texas.
Here's my current fleet.
It's been the same for several years now.
Only a couple are kustoms...not sure they're "Rat".
I'd like to write up some stuff on them, or some of them, if I could in the appropriate forums later.
I sorta stopped kustomizing my bikes about three years ago when I got bit by the skateboard bug and suddenly nothing else mattered (exageration but not far off).
I'm almost 45 and I've skated ditches almost everyday since...or parking garages.
My knees have their good days and bad.
I was told that bike riding would help my knees feel better, so I've rediscovered how fun it is to ride the bikes I've built and/or maintained.
My knees DO feel better, but I'm not done skateboarding yet.
Making longboards is another hobby/side bidness that I'm into.
I'm also into vintage VWs and drive a hot rod '59 Bug on a daily basis.
There's an old (OLD) bike on the side of a house in my 'hood that I've had my eye on for several years now.
I'm going to make a run at acquiring it today.
Wish me luck.
I look forward to meeting new folks and asking them for their opinions on stuff.
I've got the itch to build another bike.
Special thanks to my new MySpace friend, Hooch for getting the word to Rat Rod that I was having registration problemos.
The gallery here is AWESOME!
