Highest Bicycle Shipping

:lol: $5,000.00 This is the highest shipping price I have ever seen for a bicycle on Ebay or anywhere else.

Sorry because someone mentioned a note he has but I didn't see it when I looked so maybe he saw this thread on either sites I posted it on but that note still makes no sense whatsoever when everyone else doesn't do it unless he got questioned about his prices before.


I do wonder about what was the most any of you have seen before that made no sense.

The problem is, a person agrees to pay the cost. So he could retract his shipping statement and demade the full $5,000+. I doubt it would fly, but what a pain in the butt.

I bought a bike when a guy had $45 listed for shipping. After the auction was over I paid and then got an email stating he would let me know what I owed for shipping. I replied I already paid it and then he told me it usually costs a couple hundred. The bike was in my same state so I knew it would be $50 range at most. I told him to just relist it and cancel my transaction. He then emailed he would box it and see what he could do. He came back with $75 shipping. The bike was a good deal so i paid the difference.
