Hawthorne moto mountain bike

Anyone on here ever turn a Hawthorne motorbike into a mountain bike. Looking for ideas?

did the bike run 28's or 26" wheels. Lots of 26" klunkers out there, if your frame would take 700c you could go more cyclocross wheel style, skinny knobbies... maybe there are some skinny 26" knobbies out there?

Running 28". Ballooners will not fit.bought s Shimano 2 spd kickback hub but don't think the gearing will work for my cruiser idea. Now I'm thinking mountain bike bars and gears.
