has anyone heard of a "blue ribbon"

i picked up a "blue ribbon" bike the other day. its an old cruiser, but i cant seem to find anymore online, can anyone tell me about this brand?

i have seen that badge somewhere before but for the life of me i cant recall where.......if i can find it again ill post the link for you(and yeah ive seen alot of THAT blue ribbon before artgeco :wink: )

Looked at an old bike off CL last year, had a Blue Ribbon head badge, I think I recall the owner saying he thought it was an Elgin. Would've bought it if it weren't for the big hole in the frame.
