Hammered Fenders & 26" Balloon Tires...Possible?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of doing something with hammered fenders (VOs probably) on a vintage ballooner 26x2.125 tires and wheels. But I'm not seeing much out there that would fit on the VO webpage. Most are 650s and narrow, nothing hammered in the 26" size.

Any examples on this size wheel tire combo? What have you guys done? Let's see some hammered fenders and some ideas!

Not sure of the o.d. of a 650 wheel.
But, I massage 26" fenders to fit 700 x 38 wheels.
Going to bet it is do-able.

Those are cool fenders. I also like the planet bike bamboo fenders, wish they made them for a 26" balloon tire.
