Just got this off of CL for $50 bones! Does anyone know where i can find info on the year? Coast to Coast was a hardware store. The chainguard says Coast King. I doubt it is anything special, but thought i should find out before i start hacking away. thanks.

Looks like a Huffy built bike. First digit of the serial number is the last digit of the year.

i kind of like it,and i love the license plate. swap the seat and ride it.

It's similar, and from the same era (70s, and that's MY Amf btw) but this 'un is definitely a Huffy. Pics don't show it well, but it has the classic Huffy 'Mag" chainwheel, and skinny chainguard. Apparently Coast to Coast switched to Huffy built bikes in the late 60s-early 70s. Earlier bikes were built for them by Chain Bike/Ross. -Adam

From what I can see in the pics, it doesn't appear to have the distinctive AMF fender mount tabs, or fender bridge cutaway. Also, the one in the link is a straight down tube model, which looks even less like this bike.

Looks like a Huffy Camaro that's lost its tray and tank.
