A while back I picked this up for stupid cheap since it was on it's way to the boneyard. My original plan was to part it for other projects.
A couple of weeks ago I finished up a Dyno that I was working on and had the original red wheels and tires sitting off to the side, near this Huffy. I decided on a whim to throw them on and it was enough to make me want to bring it back to life. Cleaned and repacked all bearings, gave it a good detailing and a decent seat and it's back on the road. Decent ride too!

that looks great. I like those bikes. I have a girls version I want to gender reassign.
 
If you plan to ride it hard at all, you might want to swap out the stem, the stock one sucks. If it's bent at all, ditch it.
Here's one I brought back several times since I bought it new in '79. :)
