Duplicolor is kinda the same paint you see on the new cars. Just a cheaper version in a can. Check any auto store i guess. Or maybe order it online. I use it all the time.

and might i add, you are an amazing artist - as soon as i saw the montana cans i knew something was up.

Looking good. The colors really work well. The leather saddle really completes the bike.

Finished Photos of the bike.
She named it Wendeline, german for wanderer.
i will add it in teal vinyl on the chainguard.
i found this amazing basket today. a bit expensive, but awesome!

and i thought it would be neat to paint the original bell teal as well.
i am really diggin the teal with the shades of cream and honey brown.

What kind of rims did you get and where did you get them? I have a similar project. I can't get the cranks off either.
 
Could be Miele. See the "M" in the crank design? My wife has a Mammut from Germany from about the same era. Her chain guard is closed so I have never noticed the design. I will check on it.
