I love this website.
I was going to San Antonio for business and ask if anybody was doing anything there.
CycleTruck responded so I hooked up with him and the SALSA gang (SlowAndLowSanAntonio) last Saturday.
I started with them at the Pearl shops/farmers market. A few more people joined for a while.
Click for the full pic below to see the wild tank.
We went to the FrankenBike #14 free monthly swap meet. It was at Alamo Bike shop this month.
Everbody was very friendly and there were interesting bikes and parts
We headed back and went along the river. San Antonio has made a really nice area by the river.
We parted ways for a while but I was also invited to S. A. Cycles first anniversery BBQ and bike show
Great food, Great music, Great Shop! I found some aluminum Major Domo style bars 8)
We had to convince one of the group to enter his cool mild custom in the contest. He won 3rd prize!
This awesome spaceliner came in second (I had to vote for the spaceliner )
This guy and his son brought some mild and wild customs. He got 1rst place,
Sadly, I had to leave
Thanks again for all the connections, Cycletruck.
Thanks to the San Antonio bike scene for being so hospitable and cool!
