I had considered making my own seat till this one turned up and just seemed to fit so nicely.

This build has been going thru some growing pains; the first few rides I was forced to focus on getting the kinks out. It would make it around the block and then throw the chain, or bind the chain. Drive sprocket didn't set firmly against the axle, rear axle was bent and causing the rear sprocket to be misaligned. The forks presented a challenge; because of the setup the added aluminum sleeves needed to be re-cut to the perfect size. With the addition the smooth tires and high pressure tubes; it ihas transformed very smooth roller. So smooth that I had to add the brake, which originally wasn't in the plan. The cockpit setup is a little tight but very ride-able. Yesterday i was able to put 5 miles with no issues, riding down hill is 10x better than up, but since its set up for single speed, and retaining multiple gears, I still have the option for different gearing setup.

I was just looking at the pretty pictures when I decided to read up on the fork. I am impressed on with how you were able to give it a nice beefy look. Going to have to keep this in mind. I think a fatter tire on back would help with the look. Starting to remind me of a Exile motorcycle.

Those forks and bars look like they would survive a collision with a truck. Not that you should ever do that.

I do like me some meaty forks, and pretty pictures! I may tear out the rear triangle (only part of original bicycle frame that remains) And put in a 4"

I am not offering my services for crash test dummy! But I think they would take a good beating! :)

Now for some BW! (cause everything looks cooler in BW)
