I am having trouble removing rust quickly from my frame. I wanted to know what is the quickest way to remove rust from a frame? I have tryed sanding, steel wool, and scotch brite pad. None seemed to work.

Help

You need to buy one of those paint stripping wheels that you put on the end of your drill. They sell them at Lowes and Home Depot in the paint dept.

They do a great job of getting rid of rust and paint.

I use wire wheels on my drill, removes stickers, rust, and paint. At work we have a big bench grinder with a wire wheel in one side, works great, I've done car and bike parts. I bought a big box of wire wheels and some are brass so if you don't want to damage vintage tin, that's a good option too.

Go for a scothbrite pad on the end of your drill. Or a wire wheel! Good luck!L8 EM
