For my first build I'm using a Huffy Cranbrooke that I purchased New for $50 bucks off Craigslist. I ordered up A Grubee Sky Hawk GT5-SR, as well as a Springer fork, 24x3.0 Thick Bricks, 24x2.125 rims, and some other performance parts and goodies. For Paint I went with Leather Brown and a Textured Black. Here are some progress pics as I build up this bike...

Took an old seat off an older cruiser to use, under the rubber cover and foam there was an awesome metal pan, So I ditched the padding and cover and cleaned up the rusty metal pan. Just gonna keep it raw and clear coat it, maybe fill in the holes...

Love those fat tires!

Question: the original paint looked sound in the pic... why not simply paint over it?

Frank, I wanted to try out a new spray on paint stripper I bought, for future projects. The stuff sure stripped the paint to raw metal.

Ahhh, I see. What brand?

Having sanded several bike frames bare in the past, it finally occurred to me that factory paint in good condition is tough to beat, and the job would end up more durable if I simply feathered where/if needed, primed if needed, and then sprayed. Saves a lot of hassle too.

Ya, I don't like to sand a lot haha. This stuff works great and comes with a spray bottle.

Update pic, painted some tubes brown on the forks, and added another support tube to my seat. Tomorrow my Engine should be arriving Grubee SkyHawk GT-5 Super Rat with Expansion Chamber exhaust :D

SkyhawkGT5 SuperRat Front mount fits like a glove on the front down tube.. Nice they made that front mount bigger than the regular Gt5. Down side is gonna have to off set the Engine due to the Thick Brick Tires, but I have some ideas of how to do so in my mind......

Was thinking something similar to the SBP large front u bolt mount ,filpped bracket that mounts to the stud area but instead of studs use same thread size bolt but with a counter sunk allen head so head does not hit the front down tube when I offset the engine. Will do same type of thing for rear seat tube mount.

This should also allow me to raise the front mount more, and lowering the rear, and might give me more clearance so the peddle wont hit the expansion exhaust pipe....

So Today I decided to bend my brake arm, so I can offset the rear sprocket some more so the 2 won't rub, and also fabricated two new Front Engine mount that offsets the Engine a 1/2", One uses a UBolt and has a bend in the plate, the other is flat. I decided to use the one with the bend because it allows me to drop the front of the engine and be able to set the carb up level. Next is to fab up a rear mount, then cut the flange off my expansion chamber so I can rotate it a bit so the left peddle wont hit it. Here are some pics of the bent coaster brake arm, and the two Front Engine Mounts.
